After you've made up your Activity Kit, it's time for a bonus Craft and Backyard Fun with these Pool Noodle Light Sabers!
We got 1 Blue and 1 Pink Pool Noodle and cut them in half, so you actually get 4 Light Sabers out of 2 Noodles.
Next, wrap Silver Duct Tape around the bottom (I did 3 slightly overlapped widths of it).
Then, use Black Electrical Tape to add the details!
The Final Step was to draw a circle with a Red Sharpie on the Silver Duct Tape.
Then they can have at it and "fight" in the backyard! We had the rule that they could only hit noodle for noodle!

Then it's time for Light Saber Popsicles to cool off! This served as both a Craft AND a Yummy Treat.
To make these, you're going to wrap a piece of Grey Foam around the base of the popsicle (I used a non frozen one to measure) to determine how wide to make it. This is going to be different depending on what size popsicles you buy. We got the really large Welch's ones - they're huge!
Leave just enough "room" on the side for hot glue, then apply hot glue to one side and half of a long length before folding the foam in half to secure it.
Cut 1/4" and 1/2" black foam strips. I applied strips of adhesive to the strips of foam so that we could cut and stick easily as we went!
The final step was a Red Rhinestone attached to each as a button.
And there you have it - keep their hands protected from the freeze in true Jedi Fashion!

The other Yummy Snack we made was a Light Saber Snack Mix!
Lay a piece of Parchment Paper out for the pretzels to cool on.
Melt Blue and Red Chocolate Wafers in the microwave according to the package directions.
Dip the pretzels in the chocolate and lay them on the Parchment Paper to harden!
Once they've all hardened, pop some popcorn and mix them together.
You can get Blue Melts HERE and Red Melts HERE.
Hope you have a FUN Star Wars Day!!!
